References to and/or Interpretations of Regulations and HSE Guidance Documents | |||
In the County Court Judgment on this claim on the 18th June 1999 there are explicit references to regulations 2, 3 & 4 of the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 and implicit references to regulation 1 and to the HSE's guidance on the Regulations. There is also a reference to Essentials of Health and Safety at Work 1994. HH Judge Lauriston found the Defendant in breach of statutory duties and also negligent and was satisfied that "most of the breaches which have been alleged have been proved", but it is not clear precisely which regulations were breached or how the breaches contributed to the Claimant's injury.
