References to and/or Interpretations of Regulations and HSE Guidance Documents | |
While there are brief references in the note of the Judgment to MS10 and to a HSE report entitled "Guide to Prevention of Upper Limb Disorders published in 1993" they appear to be of no particular consequence. However, the note of the Judgment states: "I have read the Manual Handling Regulations and are of the opinion that they are neither aimed nor directed at this type of work and even if they were, I am not satisfied the Defendants did breach the Regulations." In the absence of an official transcript of the Judgment, it is unclear whether this is a direct or accurate quote from the Judgment. V1.01 |
