While the early paragraphs of this Judgment make reference to the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations and to alleged breaches of regulations 2, 3, 4, 6 & 7 of the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992, subsequently there are only brief references to breaches of regulations 2 and 4 of the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations that are of no particular consequence, given that the Defendant was found to be in breach of its common law duty to provide the Claimant with a safe system of work and to take reasonable care to ensure that she would not suffer physical harm in the course of her employment.
